Set made of :
Smart Dinky with pen rest (painted with natural varnish – resists any stains) with four dinkies and two pipettes.
Old style oblique penholder (see description below)
Oblique penholder made of cherry wood with an elaborate shape (in the style of some american antique penholders). With flange for Nikko G (the nib is included).
This penholder is longer than the usual penholders (2 cm more). With its slightly flexible brass flange, it is recommended for the Spencerian hand.
The shape is obtained by wood turning. This penholder is not coated with epoxy varnish but with a natural transparent paint (food industry quality) which avoids any stains (which can be washed away with a wet cloth).
It has a new brass flange very nicely finished (now gold plated 24KT) and adapted for the Nikko G nib.
The Nikko G nib fits perfectly in the flange and you don’t have to make any adjustment. Nibs that are compatible without adjustments are: Zebra G, Zebra G hard, Zebra G titanium.
If you want to use other nibs such as Hunt nibs, you must pinch the horizontal fold with pliers to secure the nib (as Barbara Calzolari suggests to her students). You must know that these may not reach the centre of the penholder, so they are not ideal for this flange.
