Description
The Handwritmic roll-up pen case is made of two fabrics: a dark blue cotton fabric on the outside and a shweshwe wax fabric (printed with wax technique) from the famous South African brand Three Cats on the inside.
The pens are well protected and the case unfolds and rests on the desk allowing all the pens to be seen. The case is sold empty; the picture is for demonstration purposes only.
Open size 44 x 28 cm. It can hold pens with a maximum size of 21 cm (one penholder with nib mounted measures 19 cm).
The pencil case was made by Pace Futuro, a foundation that in Pettinengo (Biella) pursues the goal of housing and giving work to asylum seekers who have come to Italy from different parts of the world in search of a better life. The activities that are carried out at Villa Piazzo, Pacefuturo’s headquarters, are weaving, tailoring, pottery, cosmetics and beekeeping.
