MITICA – Zebrawood and bubinga oblique penholder

Mitica is the name of this oblique Handwritmic penholder with a Nikko G flange. It features an ergonomic shape thinned in the center for a better hold.

Made by assembling two hardwoods, zebrano and bubinga. With a varnish that protects against ink stains.

All Handwritmic penholders are very well cared for in the details, for example the flange is well inserted in the wood with an aesthetically pleasing solution and it is 24 kt gold plated.

Each penholder is initially adjusted on the Nikko G and a nib is always mounted.

The nib supplied is a brand new model, that is, a gold Nikko G. The gold plating makes the nib very durable because it is not corroded by the acidity of the inks.

The more expert calligrapher can also use other nibs, taking care to tighten the protruding edge with tweezers if the nib is small and needs to be secured. The gold flange can also be bent as desired (to find your own angle of nib to the paper).

Recommended for those who already know how to write in the Spencerian or copperplate style but also for those who want to start learning and deserve a valid and beautiful tool that will always please them.

This penholder is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed calligraphers. If they write with the correct hand position under the writing line, they do not need a different tool.

It is possible to request the penholder with flange for smaller nibs such as Hunt, Gillott and Principal.
