This pen takes its name from a type of pen that calligraphers made with a Coca Cola can. The Handwritmic pen has nothing to do with DIY because it is industrialized.
First of all, it is made of brass, with a sheet that is more robust than the homemade Cola pens but thinner than similar pens on the market. The edge of the pen has been sharpened by hand. The result is a very pleasant, flowing writing with a very clear and contrasting line with very thin serifs.
This broad edge pen can be used both for formal calligraphy and for personal or expressive writing by pen manipulation.
The size of the pen is the same as that of the Automatic pen n. 4 (8 mm). Compared with the Automatic pen, the metal is much finer, the writing sensation is more precise.
Recommended inks: dyes, fountain pen inks (any color and any brand), calligraphy inks, crystal inks, sumi ink (good quality Indian ink). Acrylics are not suitable.
