Description
Oblique penholder, shorter and with very thick body (dimensions can be seen on the photo) made for Nikko G (and similar nibs) or for Hunt 22 nib (and similar nibs).
Please write in the notes which flange (which nib) you want.
This penholder is very comfortable! It is light yet it has a good grip due to its increased thickness.
With the same ergonomic and comfortable shape as the Handwritmic Elegant penholders, made with many hard woods, it has a new brass flange very nicely finished (now gold plated 24KT).
This penholder, with its slightly flexible brass flange, is recommended for the Spencerian hand.
One nib is included and it fits perfectly in the flange so that you don’t have to make any adjustment.
If you want to use other nibs than Nikko G (and similar nibs) or Hunt 22 (and similar nibs), you must pinch the flange at the horizontal fold with pliers to secure the nib (as Barbara Calzolari suggests to her students). You must know that these may not reach the centre of the penholder, so they are not ideal for this flange.
This penholder is not coated with epoxy varnish but with a natural transparent paint (food industry quality) which avoids most of the stains if washed immediately.
