Stainless steel ruling pen, hand polished with engraved details lacquered by hand in black.

The handle made of elegant hard woods very pleasing. A small dot on the knob indicates the opening of the two blades.

With an elegant box to put the pen to rest after an intense calligraphic session!

For more details see ABOUT THE RULING PEN https://www.handwritmic.com/about-the-ruling-pen/

The handle is made of the following timbers:

• Olive wood: delicate creamy colour with darker veins with the characteristic wavy shapes. This wood is compact and smooth and smells olive oil. Please note that the pattern of veins varies a lot from each handle. Some are more soft, some more evident.

• Rosewood: reddish colour with a pattern of darker veins. Very elegant. The wood is compact, the surface is smooth.

• Walnut wood: the wood is not compact, the colour is very pleasing but can vary from lighter to darker.

• Teak wood: the colour is very similar to a walnut wood, perhaps with a warmer tone, but the surface of the wood is really peculiar because it is not compact and has tiny elongated cracks along the length of the handle. If you like to see and feel the irregularities of the wood, teak wood is meant for you.

• Zebrawood: this wood has a strong character and impact, as it is recognizable by its long dark stripes. The wood is not compact, the surface is not completely smooth but shows tiny elongated cracks. If you like to see and feel the irregularities of the wood, zebrawood is meant for you.
